Front-End and Web Developer

iDonate is seeking an experienced front-end themer/designer and Drupal developer to begin immediately supporting and extending an existing website and large application built using Drupal as well as create and support related web pages, campaign (email- and mobile-based) templates, and various integrated third-party services and asset-liquidation vendors.  The firm is looking for a candidate with exceptional programming skills, problem-solving abilities and strong work ethic.  This is a full-time position (M-F) in the North Dallas area and on-site availability is required.  We're looking for great talent to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, extending, supporting custom web application
• Developing, upgrading and supporting company website
• Supporting Linux server operations
• Working with third-party development shops as necessary

Qualifications:

• BA/BS from accredited four-year college or university
• Ability to handle fast-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges
• Ability to communicate and work well with others – internal staff, client personnel, and third-party development staff/consultants

Desired Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of the Drupal platform (installation, upgrade, module modification, theming, shopping cart, and workflow)
• Expert knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript / JQuery
• Expert knowledge of MySQL
• A working knowledge of SEO/SEM
• A working knowledge of web analytics tools (e.​​g.​​ Google Analytics) and AB/​​Multi-Variant testing tools
• Ability to maintain cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, iPhone/​​iPad, Android)
• Unix/Linux experience
• Written and verbal communication skills required to present design insights/recommendations and user needs persuasively, in a compelling, easy to understand manner.​
