Graphic Design Specialist

MedSynergies’ in-house marketing department has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, hard-working and creative designer. Potential candidates must be able to develop strong ideas, execute those ideas with exceptional attention to detail, and create print or web-ready files. A range of projects include magazine print advertising, tradeshow signage, graphics for PowerPoint presentations and web design. Flash knowledge is required.  This is a full-time position and reports to the Sr. Graphic Designer.

Requirements

• Assist the Sr. Graphic Designer with a multitude of design projects.
• Must demonstrate strong design skills including page layout and typography.
• Strong sense of composition, color and ability to create engaging designs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Positive and proactive, strategic thinker and problem solver.
• Capable of juggling multiple projects gracefully and meeting deadlines.
• Portfolio required at interview.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Graphic Design-related degree or certificate.
• 1-3 years experience preferred.
• Fluent in Adobe CS5 for print, digital, rich media, specifically Flash, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word is a plus.
• Interactive and digital experience is a plus.
• PC and Mac system literate.
